Civilization is a video installation created with artist/director Marco Brambilla, for the elevators of the Standard Hotel in NYC. Brambilla's vision was to take hundreds of stock footage, movie footage and original clips and combining them to create a moving landscape depicting the ascension from hell to heaven. Full screen mode is recommended, this is an amazing work of art with alot going on.
Quite a powerful compliment to the Standard Hotel's incredible interiors (see previous post here).
