Spaces: Jean-Christophe Aumas: Paris
This is the Paris home of Jean-Christophe Aumas, art director for Chloé, Diptyque, and John Galliano. Aumas chose a striking color scheme for his walls, featuring blocks of baby pink, acid lemon, teal, black, grey and red. "When it comes to color, I prefer to do something modern and graphic rather than baroque".
The apartment is home to an impressive collection of vintage modernism, including works by Jean Prouve, Charlotte Perriand, Serge Mouile, George Nelson and Associates, Warren Platner, and Arne Jacobsen. My favorite piece is the mirror-polished brass console, reflecting the aged herringbone floor.
Via automatism, and Velvet Cushion.
