The apartment of Artur Miranda and Jacques Bec, the design duo behind the Portugal based firm Oitoemponto (also see previous post). Featuring their trademark blend of sleek and flowing lines with rich color and texture, splashes of purple, green, and gold pop against a glossy black and white backdrop. Furnished with a careful selection of 20th Century modernist classics, their collection includes a Joe Colombo Elda Chair, a Harry Bertoia Diamond Chair, an amazing onyx and lucite coffee table in the style of Milo Baughman and Vladimir Kagan, sconces by Charlotte Perriand, and a black Eero Saarinen Tulip Table surrounded by deep olive green Eames fiberglass armshell chairs on dowel bases.
