Spaces: Greg Natale: Samodol Apartment: Sydney

. Tuesday, September 7, 2010

By Sydney-based Greg Natale, a sleek modernist home immersed in a rich palette of greys, marble, and mirrors.

"Samodol Apartment is situated in one of the tallest buildings in Sydney, Australia – The Cove. Though, inspired by Greg Natale’s own home, Samodol Apartment has its own style. The owners tell Greg they want a home ‘with a nightlife’, and that they love the dark color palette. The apartment is divided in three. The first part is the living room, dining and kitchen. The second: bedroom office and two closets, and the third - main bedroom with a bath, two closets and a laundry room. “They both work during the day and only really use the apartment at night, so it had to come alive then.”  -Maya Jordan, DeZona.

Complimenting the interior are some classic pieces of 20th Century design including Warren Platner lounge chairs, Eames walnut Time Life stools, and black Eero Saarinen Tulip tables.
