A remarkable renovation of a 1970s waterfront villa by Swedish interior designers Bill an Marie Olsson Nylander, featuring a unique blend of not only lyrical and clean lines, but also of crisp white and heavily worn, aged surfaces. Vintage modernism is well represented, with sofas by Cini Boeri and Vico Magistretti; lighting by Ingo Maurer, Achille Castiglioni, and Anglepoise; and chairs by Poul Nørreklit, Harry Bertoia, and Charles and Ray Eames. The Arco Lamp looming over the Egyptian table, concrete shell, and black and blue fiberglass Eames shells is my favorite composition.
Via the brick house, and residence.
