A soothing and relaxed modernist take on a Southampton country home, by Manhattan-based fashion and interior designer Jarlath Mellett.
A great collection of premier 20th Century modernism was selected for this home, including Coconut chairs by George Nelson; Leather Bambole armchairs by Mario Bellini, an Arne Jacobsen Egg chair and ottoman, a pair of Hans Wegner Papa Bear chairs and ottomans; a Paolo Piva coffee table; Bruno Mathsson daybed; sofas by Edward Wormley and Vladimir Kagan; stools by Poul Kjaerholm; and lighting by Arredoluce, Joe Colombo, and Arlus. There is also a really interesting pair of Yki Nummi Skyflyer pendants over the dining table, and the stack of vintage Louis Vuitton cases by the bed is a nice finishing touch.
