Kitka takes us along to visit the home of one of the greatest historians of 20th Century Scandinavian Design, Professor Oda Noritsugu. Located in Asahikawa, Japan, Professor Oda has amassed a mind-blowing collection of Scandinavian Modernism, including rare forms and prototypes from Finn Juhl, Hans Wegner, Hans Bolling, just to name a few.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. As a long time admirer of Finn Juhl's furniture, it is inspiring to see a collection such as Professor Oda's. What a privilege it must have been.
I had the pleasure to work with Finn Juhl pieces first hand when at Baker Furniture during the '90's. We had a number of his prototypes that had been kept in the archives from his original collaboration with Hollis Baker, in the late 40's. We tried to re-introduce them to a new generation, but without success.
Thanks again for a peek into this wonderful world.
beautiful photos. beautiful furniture. thanks.
