House 60, by Toronto based gh3.
"gh3 works in the increasingly complex realm where architecture, urbanism and landscape overlap. Informed by the past and speaking to the future, we design with a modernist’s eye to order, beauty and social possibility, and an environmentalist’s awareness about sustainability and long–term planning."
The lyrically pattered glass extension to the living room wall is a nice counterpoint to the interior's strict linearity, creating a division and maintaining voluminousness at the same time.
Complimenting the interior are some mid century classics, including a matching pair of Arne Jacobsen Egg Chairs, an Eames Surfboard Coffee Table, and a pair of Sigurd Ressel Falcon chairs (this is the actually the first time I've really liked the Falcon chairs!)
