A beautiful Chelsea loft by Interior Design Hall of Fame inductee Bruce Bierman.

"Because there are no other highrises in the immediate vicinity, the interior was not allowed to work against the expansive views. The overall outcome, Bierman says, is a 'cloudlike effect' as light, clean-line interiors co-exist effortlessly with the Manhattan skyline outside.... It's the quintessential New York apartment." - Bobbie Dell'Aquilo, New York Home.

Furnishings include a bookcase by Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand, a Mies van der Rohe Barcelona daybed and MR20 lounge chair, lamps by Edouard-Wilfred Buquet and Cedric Hartman, a rosewood Florence Knoll triple-chest, and a set of white leather Mario Bellini Cab dining chairs.  The artwork is by Sonia Delaunay.

Photographs by Peter Margonelli.
