Spaces: Jonathan Boyer + Michael Yannell's LEED Platinum House: Chicago

. Monday, April 18, 2011

"Architect Jonathan Boyer, of Chicago’s Farr Assoc., says the house is designed to produce as much energy as it consumes. But, he adds, he knew it would get the point across only if it also looked good."

An impressive LEED platinum home, leading the way in 21st Century home design, while furnished with 20th Century modernist classics.  Included are a dining table and lounge chairs by Warren Platner, sofa and side tables by Florence Knoll, and stools by Harry Bertoia.
