Spaces: Delfin-Postigo Residence: Madrid

. Thursday, January 7, 2010

The home of fashion designer David Delfin and architect turned photographer Gorka Postigo. The all white space serves as the perfect backdrop to the couple's art and design collection. Their art collection includes Postigo's own pieces alongside works by Juergen Teller, Diane Arbus, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Juan Gatti. Their design collection includes leather and steel chairs by Charlotte Perriand, a Roger Feraud coat rack, Charles and Ray Eames Lounge Chairs, Isamu Noguchi coffee table, and an incredible sculptural Serge Mouille 3 arm floor lamp. My favorite photo is of the Jean Prouvé chair and Pierre Paulin desk, highlighted with a collection of Pez dispensers animating an otherwise monochrome vignette.
